First look: Oval Hotel to open in Adelaide

Bookings for the new-build hotel will open early next year.

A first look into Adelaide Oval’s brand new accommodation offering, Oval Hotel, has been revealed.

Renders of the 138-room boutique hotel, operated by Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority, unveil a modern fit-out and minimalist colour palette.

Designed to wrap around the eastern façade of the stadium, Oval Hotel will seamlessly blend with the existing structure when it opens in September 2020.

Oval Hotel general manager Bodelle Francis said the hotel’s brand identity is reflected in its design.

“The experience we are creating here at Oval Hotel is completely unique, and we knew that had to extend to every aspect of our offering,” she said.

“We have chosen a name that is simple and strong and that we believe will establish Oval Hotel as a travel destination for South Australia and for Australia.

“To be unveiling our identity and previewing our guest experience is hugely exciting, as it takes us one step closer to bringing our vision for Oval Hotel to life.”

The hotel will bring highly sought after accommodation to the precinct, making it an ideal spot to stay when attending events at Adelaide Oval Functions
and Events, which hosts more than 1400 functions each year across its 23 event spaces.

Guests will enjoy access to Adelaide Oval’s Hill of Grace Restaurant, which celebrates South Australian food and wine in a fine-dining setting.

Soon-to-open Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen will offer a more relaxed atmosphere with views of the Oval and surrounding parklands.

Oval Hotel will take bookings from March 2020 ahead of its opening.

“This first look is just a taste of what is to come, and we look forward to showing our guests what else we have been working on when our doors open in September 2020,” said Francis.
