Cumberland Lorne Resort has just completed a major refurbishment of its Conference Centre, upgrading the Resort’s extensive conferencing and events facilities.
The project is a significant step in maintaining the property’s reputation as one of the premier conference venues on the Great Ocean Road.
Works included a refurbishment of the entire Conference Centre, re-upholstering the 350 seat tiered auditorium and various upgrades to a large number of the Resort apartments.
The refurbishment has seen an upgrade to the Conference Centre’s 350 seat auditorium and more.
After a number of years of external operation, Cumberland Lorne Resort has also announced that the Conference Centre is back under direct control of Resort Management. This important change will assist the Resort in hosting seamless conferencing and events.
“Since reassuming control of the Conference Centre we have received a great deal of positive feedback and I am pleased to be able to build on that with a freshened up and contemporary facility,” said general Manager, Lee Gordon. “I am excited to welcome back many of our existing clients to the upgraded Centre and look forward to offering our services to a range of organisations new to our property.”
A new partnership with local catering company – Cater & Co – means delegates can look forward to a focus on fresh, local produce prepared in house. Cater & Co draws upon over twenty five years of hospitality experience and is committed to assisting the Resort achieve its goal of industry leading service and catering.
