The Adina is housed inside the former Queensland Government Savings Bank located at 171 George Street. The stunning heritage building originally opened in 1922 and has been sensitively repurposed by TKD Architects.
With 220 rooms, the hotel will provide guests with the comforts of home, offering spacious apartments with their own kitchen, laundry and living room, or studios with kitchenettes, all with full hotel services including 24-hour reception and a fitness centre with excellent gym equipment and a pool. The hotel will also have a restaurant and bar with a public entrance on George St.
The following month, The Calile Hotel will open in James St, Fortitude Valley.
The Calile will be home to 175 guest rooms, including nine suites and two premier suites. Each room has an individual balcony, Bluetooth sound bar, motorised blackout blinds, 55” flat screen television and complimentary WiFi.
The hotel will have numerous restaurant, bar and event space options, including a lobby bar, a poolside restaurant, and a grand ballroom that holds up to 500 people.
TFE Hotels CEO Rachel Argaman says, “This will be a sophisticated and fun resort experience in an urban location – where people will meet for drinks with friends, to shop or for a fun night out, taking advantage of that glorious sub-tropical outdoor lifestyle that Brisbane has to offer.”
Adina Brisbane opens July 1 and is bookable now. The Calile opens to guests September 10 and will be bookable from mid April.
