Leading hotels, staff and industry suppliers are urged to snap up tickets while they are available as the 2011 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, presented by Sealy, continues to sell at a record pace.

Less than 150 tickets remain for the hotel industry’s night of nights, which is being hosted by morning television personality Larry Emdur at Sydney Town Hall on September 2.

Emdur is co-host of ‘The Morning Show’ on Channel Seven and has been in the Australian television industry for the past 28 years. Most famously, he was the host of The Price Is Right for more than seven years on Channel Nine and Wheel of Fortune on Channel Seven.

This year, a record 1600 entries were received for the 2011 HM Awards, presented by Sealy, and now 480 finalists are vying to win the 48 categories on offer this year.

In the last eight years, almost 3600 people have attended the HM Awards and more than 300 awards have been awarded to hotels across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

The 2011 HM Awards are hosted by HM magazine, presented by Sealy and co-hosted by AHS Hospitality, Intrust Super, ISIS and Philips.

The 2011 HM Awards gala presentation dinner is being held at Sydney Town Hall on September 2. For bookings, email ana@intermedia.com.au or jwilkinson@intermedia.com.au
