Rebranding for ExpoHire

Exhibition Hire / ExpoHire has announced the start of a rebranding process that will see the company change its name to ExpoNet on February 1, 2010.

Exhibition Hire / ExpoHire has announced the start of a rebranding process that will see the company change its name to ExpoNet on February 1, 2010.

The rebranding, which will also extend to the AE Group and Onsite Power & Light, further consolidates the company’s industry expansion plans and position as Australia’s largest conference and exhibition supplier.

Established in 1980, Exhibition Hire undertook a significant acquisition program in 2008, acquiring the AE Group in February, Onsite Power & Light in August and Expo Hire in September.

Exhibition Hire / ExpoHire, CEO, Jim Delahunty, said the announcement was part of an ongoing integration strategy to ensure a smooth transition for all staff and clients and reinforced the professionalism and unity of the combined company.

“The name ExpoNet was first conceived 20 years ago by the principals of Expo Hire and Exhibition Hire when, as two of Australia’s leading exhibition suppliers, they decided a national approach was needed to market the industry and its services,” said Delahunty.

“ExpoNet encapsulates the history and identity of our combined company and more accurately reflects the broad range of industry services that we provide today, including exhibition equipment hire, custom stand design and construction, event signage and graphic services, and lighting and audio visual support.”

The new ExpoNet logo, designed by the company’s own graphic designers, will be unveiled in August.

The Exhibition Hire and Expo Hire brands will continue to be seen on equipment, vehicles and marketing materials during the next six months, with the ExpoNet name and logo to be phased in from February 2010.

“Order forms and other existing marketing materials bearing the Exhibition Hire and Expo Hire logos will continue to be valid and clients will be provided with updates on the rebranding process to ensure the switch to ExpoNet is both smooth and successful,” said Delahunty.

From its offices in Sydney, Brisbane/Gold Coast and Melbourne, Exhibition Hire / ExpoHire supplies over 400 events per year in more than 100 venues nationwide.
