AIME Knowledge Exchange to focus on human connections

Organisers say AIME 2020 will place people at the heart of the event.

Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) has announced the theme for its 2020 Knowledge Exchange will centre around the fundamentals of human connections in today’s hyper-connected world.

Under the theme ‘An Exploration of Human Connections and Experiences’, the Knowledge Exchange will focus on the fundamentals of relationship building in the events industry.

Matt Pearce, CEO at Talk2 Media & Events, which organises the show, said AIME 2020 puts people at the heart of the event.

“Business events are all about human interaction and so it makes absolute sense for us to challenge our visitors and exhibitors alike to connect and maximise the potential for business in different and exciting new ways,” he said.

As the AIME Knowledge Exchange content weaver, Holly Ransom, CEO of Emergent and professional speaker, will guide discussions with delegates on the core principles of connections and how technology can enhance them.

“The Asia Pacific is one of the world’s most diverse cultural regions, and connecting and understanding its neighbours has been one of the key driving forces in its economic success,” she said.

“I’m very excited to lead discussions on how technology has played a role in all this, but also on the importance of stripping back to the basics.”

AIME is taking place on 17–19 February 2020 at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. For more details, visit aime.com.au.
