What to expect from Luxperience 2018

Luxperience is gearing up for its 2018 event, which will boast a new location and new luxury exhibitors.

Taking place at ICC Sydney on 16-19 September, Luxperience will welcome over 40 per cent new exhibitors ranging from indigenous experiences and eco-lodges to exclusive yacht charters and high-end hotels and resorts.

The 2018 event will see a strong presence of new exhibitors from Europe, including France, Greece and Italy. Catering to those looking for a less-travelled option, destinations such as Ecuador, Cuba, Peru, Mexico, Galapagos, Myanmar and Rwanda will also be exhibiting.

Sri Lanka has increased its presence at the event, while Rwanda Development Board and Korea Tourism Organisation have confirmed their attendance for the first time.

Rwanda Development Board chief tourism officer Belise Kariza says Luxperience is a great opportunity to introduce and showcase Rwanda to the Australian market.

“We are privileged to be attending Luxperience 2018 for the first time, a show that is congregating the crème de la crème of travel professionals in the tourism industry globally,” she says.

“Rwanda is a safe destination that offers diverse, authentic and premium experiences in a sustainable way. We can only build the momentum and ensure that tourists from the Australia get to experience the hidden gem that is Rwanda.”

Luxperience 2018 will also welcome new resorts and hotels including Shinta Mani Wild, Cambodia; InterContinental Danang Sun, Vietnam; Le Grand Hotel, Sri Lanka and the Henley Hotel, New Zealand.

Several properties will be introducing buyers to their newly renovated hotels such as Wains Hotel, Dunedin; Trump International, New York and Millbrook Resort, Queenstown.
