Bluestone Restaurant Bar in Melbourne’s bustling Flinders Lane has recently updated its corporate conference and dining space and released a series of new 2013 Autumn conference and events menus.

Located only minutes from Southbank and within walking distance from the major four and five-star hotels, Bluestone’s new autumn 2013 conference menu features ingredients fresh from Head Chef Cody Cunningham’s very own garden plot at the iconic Melbourne Federation Square. Whilst the food at Bluestone Restaurant Bar is of the highest standard it also is sure to surprise and delight conference and corporate event planners, with its diversity.

With a dedicated private corporate dining room, Bluestone offers both upstairs dining and downstairs open function space.

The conference package includes arrival coffee, morning tea, two course lunch, afternoon tea, unlimited soft drinks and juices, room hire from 8.30am until 5pm, clothed tables and water, overhead screen, lectern and podium.

The venue also offers cocktail making workshops and pizza making workshops lead by Bluestone’s very own pizza chef and cocktail barman – which make for a fun alternative team building exercise – and perfect for groups of 20-50 – with guests sampling their fine fare at the end of the interactive fun classes and taking home gift packs of an apron and recipes.

“We are very committed to providing the freshest ingredients and local Victorian produce, which complements our extensive wine list and our function guests and event planners will see and, most importantly, taste the freshness,” said Cunningham.

The new conference menu allows for plenty of choice and can be tailored to best suit individual event and function needs.

Whether it is an intimate dinner for ten guests or a major sit down dinner for up to 140 corporate guests – Bluestone Restaurant Bar’s events menu items are taken directly from the restaurant’s menu. And co-owner Valerie McLean personally handles all corporate events and conferences.

“We’re not just a dining experience here at Bluestone, we have extensive function space which is ideal for those wanting to hold corporate events, special occasion dinners or events, as well as a great venue for a relaxing cocktail in our downstairs bar area,” she said.
