Fresh Catering’s managing director, Peter McCloskey has announced a new catering partnership as Fresh takes over the reigns as exclusive caterer at the Sydney based arts venue, Carriageworks.
Fresh commenced operations at the thriving arts venue in the first week of January for the 2013 Sydney Festival program at Carriageworks, launching with a temporary pop-up bar together with Asahi. Plans are underway for an exciting new permanent bar and dining concept to be launched in the early part of 2013.
Fresh Catering’s Peter McCloskey has announced the supplier has taken over as the exclusive provider at Sydney’s Carriageworks.
“Carriageworks is an outstanding arts and cultural institution which has achieved great success in the arts community,” said McCloskey.
“Together with Carriageworks, we recognise the huge potential this venue has in particular with the corporate market, with its ability to host special events such as the scale and size of Mercedes Benz Australia Fashion Week”.
“We also know that Carriageworks is a unique and popular space for Sydney’s arts and dining patrons. The industrial heritage site has become somewhat of an institution and we plan to create an experience that matches the uniqueness and excitement of the space. We will develop a great bar and food offering to please the most discerning customers”.
Carriageworks director Lisa Havilah believes the partnership with Fresh Catering will further enhance the visitor experience, “Our partnership with Fresh Catering follows a year of record attendances at Carriageworks in 2012 and is sure to build on that growth by adding an exciting new food and beverage experience designed to complement our dynamic 2013 artistic program, which spans the visual arts, theatre, dance, film and music.”
Fresh Catering is also exclusive caterer, for the second year to Opera Australia’s Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour, Carmen.
