El Nido Resorts in the Philippines is offering 3-day turtle tracking tours at its luxury properties on Lagen and Miniloc Islands in the Bacuit Archipelago — one of the most diverse and beautiful protected marine habitats in the world.
The Bacuit Archipelago is home to countless species of marine life, including whale sharks, dolphins and three species of endangered sea turtles: the Hawksbill, Green Sea and Olive Ridley.
Turtle tracking tours allow guests to explore the many islands and karts of the Bacuit Archipelago in non-evasive motorised outriggers and to snorkel among turtles in still blue waters.
Guests will also learn about the animals from the resort’s dedicated environment officers and witness turtle hatchings and participate in turtle releases.
