Accounting software maker Attaché is holding more than 30 seminars throughout March and April at major city and regional locations around Australia and New Zealand aimed at educating business owners on debt-reduction strategies.
The seminar series coincide with the launch of Bullet Proof your Business: Debtors Reduction Strategies — a free publication and chart that address seven key areas where businesses can reduce debt.
Attaché Software managing Ddrector, Michael Rich, said the publication enables a business to quickly assess its current average debtor days by matching annual revenue with outstanding debtors.
“The business benefits of reducing the number of debtor days is significant and can result in such enhancements as improved cash flow, increased working capital, reduced bad debts and reduced bank interest, to name a few,” he said.
“By increasing working capital, a business can use the extra funds for practical initiatives such as reducing a bank overdraft, updating the computer system, developing new brochures, improving the website or conducting a carbon audit.”
The series kicks off today (Mar 17) at the Sebel Parramatta in western Sydney.
