The company is the new owner of Fox Hotel at Fish Lane, which will reopen in late 2025 as a dining, events and entertainment precinct.
Ghanem Group owns Brisbane establishment Blackbird Bar, Dining & Events, which is expanding to Melbourne in 2025, as well as restaurants Donna Chang and Byblos.
The revitalisation of the heritage-listed Fox Hotel building in the bustling Fish Lane arts, food and entertainment precinct will feature an interior redesign and fit-out of the Art Deco property by Space Cubed Design Studio.
When complete, the hotel will feature multiple cuisine and experience hubs across four floors.
“This is our largest and one of our most exciting projects to date,” says Ghanem Group director Adonis Ghanem (pictured at top, right, with Nehme Ghanem).
“The growing community of this area has long awaited the return of this legendary venue, and to have the opportunity to bring the next era of dining and entertainment to this iconic site is a true honour.
“This is a project we are very excited about.”
The reopened venue will feature two dedicated function spaces, a public bar with bistro, a late-night cocktail lounge, and a rooftop terrace with views of Brisbane CBD.
