Original keynote speaker Dominic Price has had to withdraw, and will be replaced by “corporate monk” Kamal Sarma, who boasts a decorated corporate career – including as founder and CEO of strategic leadership firm Rezilium – and is an international author.
Sarma’s opening keynote address is “Mastering human connection through artificial, analog and ancient intelligence” – presented by Inspire Speakers – and the synopsis is below:
Are you leading with intelligence that matches the complexity of today’s world? Artificial intelligence is accelerating decision-making, automation and information flow, but as AI advances, the human mind is under pressure – bombarded by data, distracted by noise and stretched beyond its natural capacity. A modern leader must do more than adopt digital tools; they must understand and master the three forms of intelligence that drive sustainable leadership:
- Artificial intelligence: The digital tools that process faster than we ever can.
- Analog intelligence: The unique rhythms and limitations of the human brain.
- Ancient intelligence: The neurochemical drivers that shape how we lead, relate and perform.
In this keynote session, corporate leader and international author Kamal Sarma focuses on helping people master the art of human connection through navigation of complex and critical conversations, developing resilience and transforming cultures.
Sarma has deep insights into people and organisations, in large part due to his unique personal and corporate experience.
He spent seven years living as a monk in a desert monastery in India and returned to Australia to build a successful corporate career.
Today, Sarma focuses on helping people master the art of human connection through navigating complex and critical conversations, developing resilience and transforming cultures.
He has held senior executive positions in organisations such as McKinsey & Company, Eli Lilly and AMP Capital. He has also been co-founder of two venture capital businesses in the IT and biotech sectors.
Sarma is currently chairman of Amicus Digital and founder and CEO of his strategic leadership firm, Rezilium.
For the past 18 years, he and his team have helped top companies in Australia and around the world.
Sarma is author of three international books: best seller Mental Resilience: The Power of Clarity, The Leadership Leap: Un-learning how to lead, and his latest release, The Art of WinWin Conversations.
He has also conducted programs for top-tier organisations such as Google, Facebook, Bank of New York, Reserve Bank of Australia, PwC, EY, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank and ING Global.
Sarma is chair of the RUOK Conversation Board and is launching the Momentrs program to eradicate self-harm and domestic violence through mentorship.
He will be onstage at Events Uncovered at 9.10am for this unmissable keynote presentation.
