The 2025 ABEA Conference will be held from 3-5 December 2025 at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The conference made its debut in Sydney in 2024, and the second instalment comes to Melbourne to engage business events industry professionals across venues, bureaus, suppliers and organisers.
The 2025 conference theme is “Partner with Impact”, exploring “how collaboration and alignment between sectors, regions, organisations and individuals can lead to meaningful, measurable outcomes for the industry”, according to ABEA.
The program will feature a mix of keynote speakers, interactive education sessions, sector-specific meetings and structured networking opportunities.
Confirmed to appear is journalist and broadcaster Tracey Spicer AM; global leadership voice Holly Ransom; mindset and innovation expert Nigel Collin; technology strategist Dawid Naude; generational futurist Scott Millar; behaviour change leader Dominic Thurbon; and performance poet Joel McKerrow.
The Australian Business Events Awards on Thursday 4 December will recognise and celebrate industry excellence, and feature entertainer Faustina “Fuzzy” Agolley as MC.
“Partner with Impact is more than a theme, it’s an invitation,” says Melissa Brown, CEO, ABEA.
“This conference is where meaningful partnerships are formed, future visions are shared, and our community comes together to advance a prosperous and sustainable business events industry.”
