The Event Awards team have announced a raft of changes to their annual awards show. Read on for an update.
The first major change is that the Event Awards ceremony has moved from November to September.
As far as the entry process goes, this has been streamlined too. There will be no more supplementary information required. Once an enry is complete and paid for, the only thing entrants need to do is send a USB or DVD containing a high resolution copy of any video included in the entry before 8 August 2016.
The Minimum Raw Score for entries has been replaced with a slightly higher Finalist Threshold, to reflect the fact that judges are not focussed on the bare minimum. Events and achievements must equal or surpass the Finalist Threshold in order to be eligible to become a Finalist.
Event Manager of the Year has been renamed in 2016 to Event Producer of the Year.
