Check out this clever collaboration between Kate Spade and eBay.

This would work well on a busy exhibition show floor where customers could place orders right there and then via existing ecommerce channels. It could also be programmed for full data capture so that exhibitors could post out orders/samples to interested parties simply by asking them to provide their mailing address and subscribe to their newsletter or follow them on social media.

This technology is available locally through Activate Media and Events.

This is quite an old case study (July 2013) but this has never been done in Australia.
