The Drink ‘n’ Dine Group has launched The Californian at Santa Barbara, an Art Deco South West American themed eatery in the old Piano Room.

The Californian eatery is a 1960s South West-styled folly

Located under the Coke sign in Kings Cross, the refurbished venue can hold up to 250 people and is divided into three areas: The Californian eatery, the bar and Hotbox.

The Hotbox is a VIP private room area that can be hired exclusively. There is also a balcony area overlooking the street that has capacity for 28 people.

Retro banquettes give the eatery a cosy vibe

The drinks list includes playful cocktails such as aloe margaritas, sunset daiquiris and mojito 90210s and the catering menu includes Mexican-inspired calamari sliders, Baja fish tacos, grilled watermelon, jalapeno and ocean trout ceviche.
