If you’re planning to enter the Australian Event Awards, you have one more day to receive the discounted entry fee of $220. Entries received after August 16th will attract a fee of $275.
Online entries can be edited up until the closing date of September 9th so it’s possible to work on entries after close of business.
Ian Steigrad, Managing Director of the Awards said, “All 10 Best Event Categories look popular with the introduction of the State Winners this year. With 70 new winners there’s now a much better chance of being recognised – and that’s pretty important. What is a little surprising is that our headline Entertainer of the Year Award, usually heavily contested, seems to be lagging a little behind at this stage. It’s a great award to win and it’s probably the easiest to enter if you have a bio and a video. With the opportunity to perform for the whole industry on its Night of Nights, this award can certainly make a difference to booking success of all the finalists. Hopefully it will pick up and be more reflective of the great talent in the Australian events industry.”
