Planners join MasterChef Alvin Quah for Eat Together, Think Together at UNSW

UNSW Venues and Events have teamed up again with award-winning caterer Gastronomy, to put some spice back in the boardroom with the Eat Together= Think Together concept.

The University of NSW (UNSW) Venues and Events have teamed up again with award-winning caterer Gastronomy, to put some spice back in the boardroom with the Eat Together= Think Together concept.

On Friday 10th September, Venues and Events and Gastronomy invited MasterChef finalist and food blogger Alvin Quah to come and talk to their valued clients about the fun you can have sharing their ‘Eat Together’ menus, and to share some tips on preparing the perfect Steamboat lunch.

MasterChef contestant and food blogger Alvin Quah joined UNSW for a lunch event showcasing the Eat Together = Think Together menus

The lunch and famil which toured from the award-winning CBD Campus to the Scientia Conference and Events Centre allowed guests to experience first-hand the new facilities at UNSW, and cook up some favour-sensations of their own.

They also got up close and personal with the charming and energetic Alvin Quah, who had all the best tips on finding the freshest ingredients and the yummiest yum cha restaurants in Sydney, not to mention all the behind-the-scenes gossip from Australia’s favourite cooking competition.

‘Eat Together’ is an exciting new way for meetings and events organiser to build teams and fuel relationships across disciplines and organisations. All menus are designed to keep collaboration going, long after the conference or meeting is over. Yum Cha, Steamboat, Mexican banquets and more are all ready for the taking.

The unique menu concept is designed to foster teamwork and creativity within the UNSW’s creative event spaces

Eat Together = Think Together is an opportunity for people to share great food and ideas after a morning of planning and learning in one of UNSW’s many custom-designed conferencing or meeting venues. The menus are designed to keep collaboration going as delegates or staff gather together around a pot of steaming miso soup and create something wonderful and individual.

Eat Together = Think Together menus are available in all UNSW venues. For more information on enevts and conferencing at UNSW, click here.
