With ladies and gents decked head to toe in waistcoats, pearls and flapper dresses, the cocktails were flowing in true French 1920s prohibition era fashion to not only celebrate the harvest, but to toast St Germain being named Cocktail Liqueur of the Year at the 2009 Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA) a week earlier.

French inspired decadence filled the room not only with delicious canapés but four specially crafted St Germain cocktails were shaken and stirred from the Mojito Parisien to the St-Honoré 75 champagne cocktail.

Guests were teased with some devilish entertainment with a private burlesque show from dancer extraordinaire Mercy St James, while Planet Cake created an edible masterpiece with a gigantic St Germain bottle too beautiful to even eat.

Many industry VIPs and Sydney socialites joined in on the French frivolities with Sibella Court, Amanda Keller and Gracie Otto in attendance, along with top Sydney restaurateurs and mixologists, including top tender Jason Crawley, Michelle Powell from Rockpool and Bella Serventi from Pink Salt.
