Organisers considering Brisbane venues will have another option with the recent refurbishment of The Landing at Dockside, formerly known as Snug Harbour.

Officially welcomed as a specialised function and event centre at a cocktail party on Tuesday (Aug 4) the venue has undergone a transformation from new owners, Richard and Jane Deery.

The venue, located on the Dockside Marina, offers Brisbane River waterfront access and views as well as boardwalk views of the Story Bridge.

The Landing has the capacity of up to 1500 people with four bars and two dance floors across three signature spaces – The Harbour Room, The River Room and The Garden Room and offers clients (from weddings to top end corporates) a variety of options from al fresco dining to launch spaces, presentation facilities and an outdoor space.

And for the first time in eight years the menus have been refreshed and updated courtesy of a new kitchen team including a new head chef. Menus can be custom-designed or cherry-picked from a unique range of offers.
