Students at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) will host hosting a day-long Regional Food and Wine Show in Leura on May 17.

Fine food will be on offer at the show

“The festival runs for one day and consists of a food and wine expo in the afternoon, where local food and wine businesses will set up stalls and allow people to sample their products,” said event organiser, BMIHMS student Daniel Ballis.

“This year we are privileged to have executive chef Glen Ballis from Nedal’nij Vostok (Not Far East) Moscow as the guest chef preparing an innovative menu featuring local produce for the event dinner.”

The festival will also feature a charity dinner that will help raise funds for the Sala Bai Hotel School in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

It will be co-sponsored by Hotel Management and Accommodation magazine, a sister publication of SpiceNews.
