Boutique travel company Anthology Travel is to launch three- and four-day overland Cradle Mountain walking tours to better suit the needs of the incentive market.

For years people have discovered the awesome regenerative powers of the 60km walking track between Cradle Mountain and Lake St Clair, with its breathtaking wilderness, relative isolation and rustic lodges.

But many in the corporate sector lacked the time to experience the complete six-day itinerary. Shorter itineraries are now being finalised and scheduled to commence later this year. Prices are yet to be announced.

Anthology has also announced that from 2009, it will keep its award-winning Bay of Fires Lodge open all year round.
Since opening in 2000, the 10-room property has only been accessible to guests on the four-day Bay of Fires Walk, which operates from May until October.

This is set to change in May as Anthology markets the Tasmanian property as a venue for corporate getaways and special events, with exclusive occupancy options subject to availability.

Bay of Fires rates are $450 per person per night, including all meals, wine and guides for kayaking and hiking.
