Luxury conference cruising has come to the Whitsundays with the availability of the boutique cruise ship MV Ammari.

The MV Ammari, with 4-star accommodation for 64 guests in 32 double cabins, presents a new experience for organisers considering a Whitsundays venue for meetings, conferences or events.

As well as providing state-of the-art technical conferencing equipment, the cruise ship also features its own restaurant, saltwater swimming pool and bar, retail outlet, lounge bar and Day Spa.

The Ammari will be available for exclusive charter from March 2009 until October. Rates start from $26,250 per day including delegate meals, use of snorkelling and gymnasium equipment and return connections to and from the ship to Whitsunday Island resorts or Airlie Beach.

Exclusive four-night package cruises are available during Easter from April 10 -14 and over the Queen’s Birthday weekend June 5 – 9, 2009. Prices start at $2460 pp twin share or $3690 per single. The itinerary includes stopovers to world-famous Whitehaven Beach, Daydream Island and Fantasea’s award-winning Reefworld moored at Hardy Reef on the Great Barrier Reef.

Additional cruise dates will be released in the New Year incorporating exciting new itineraries and themed cruising.

MV Ammari, with its open space public areas and spacious cabins offers luxury boutique cruising against the stunning backdrop of the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef.

Optional extra activities available to conference delegates on-board include scenic helicopter flights over famous Heart Reef, on-board day spa treatments, diving, fishing, sailing and jet ski tours.
