MEA Conference Scholarships Up for Grabs

Event software and technology company, Ungerboeck Systems International (USI), is again teaming up with Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) to offer a promising young event professional a leg up on their career through a scholarship award.

Event software and technology company, Ungerboeck Systems International (USI), is again teaming up with Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) to offer a promising young event professional a leg up on their career through a scholarship award.

The scholarship offers successful applicants the opportunity to attend the MEA 2009 National Conference, to be held this year in Adelaide on April 5 to 7. One applicant will be chose from each state and territory, with travel and accommodation expenses included.

To apply, nominees must be under the age of 30 with less than three years full-time experience in the meetings and events industry. They must also display a keen commitment to the industry as well as be in the employ by a MEA member. 

Event management students in their final year (2008) of an undergraduate or TAFE course related to the meetings and events industry may also apply for a student scholarship to attend the MEA National Conference.
