In new appointments, Allan Kalfabun has become the sales and marketing manager at Le Lagon Resort Vanuatu, Andrew Cleverley has been named general manager of the Heritage Hotel Mount Cook in New Zealand, and Cleo Seaman is now general manager at the Hotel


In new appointments, Allan Kalfabun has become the sales and marketing manager at Le Lagon Resort Vanuatu, Andrew Cleverley has been named general manager of the Heritage Hotel Mount Cook in New Zealand, and Cleo Seaman is now general manager at the Hotel Lindrum in Melbourne.

Kalfabun has brought over 10 years of hospitality tourism experience serving the international business community primarily focusing within the Australian, New Zealand and multitude of South Pacific Islands markets.

His past experience includes working with destination selling, wholesaler and tour operator companies, as well as an airline, retail and an international hotel group.

“We want to continue to grow our inbound business from not only those geographic areas where Allan has a solid track record of experience, but present Vanuatu and the Le Lagon Resort to new markets throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, China and both North and South America,” says Le Lagon Resort Vanuatu general manager Ali Serhan.

Andrew Cleverley
Cleverly took up the role of General Manager of Aoraki Mount Cook’s Hermitage Hotel this week (Jan 11) following his return from Australia where he was general manager of Cairns’ Rydges Plaza Hotel.

Cleverley, originally from Timaru in New Zealand, holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management from Lincoln University and has a comprehensive background in hotel operations, strategic planning and product development.

He initially joined the Rydges Hotel Group as a corporate cadet and underwent its intense 18-month training programme designed to fast track motivated individuals passionate about a career in hotels.

Cleo Seaman
Recently appointed Hotel Lindrum general manager, Seaman brings her extensive experience and charm to one of Melbourne’s much loved boutique hotels.

With an industry background spanning over 22 years, Seaman has held management roles at properties throughout Melbourne, Sydney and Launceston.

Before moving back to her hometown of Melbourne in June 2009, Seaman spent 12 months as general manager of accommodation in Sydney’s plush Establishment Hotel where she gained invaluable experience at one of Australia’s world-class boutique hotels.
