Foodies celebrate March into Merivale

Last week over 2,500 foodie fans marched into a gourmet extravaganza at Sydney's ivy to celebrate the fifth annual festival, March into Merivale.


Recently (5 Feb) over 2,500 foodie fans marched into a gourmet extravaganza at Sydney’s ivy to celebrate the fifth annual festival, March into Merivale.


More than 2,500 guests marched into this food event earlier this month to kick off March into Merivale.

Guest’s were treated to a taste over 24 of Merivale’s renowned bars and restaurants, sampling delicious treats and and delectable cocktails and chatting with their favourite chefs from Mr Wong, The Fish Shop, sushi e, El Loco, Ms G’s, Est. and the sweet spot, Lorraine’s Patisserie; getting up close up and personal with their favourite chefs. A night of pure culinary enjoyment.


Guests were able to sample dishes from over 24 of of Merivale’s renowned bars and restaurants.

Making it the biggest and most exciting launch to date, live music and entertainment stretched the length of Ash Street and into both ivy ballroom and Palings Kitchen & Bar, located on level one of ivy and Merivale’s latest addition to the group.

March into Merivale will run for seven weeks through to March 28 and highlights will include lunch and dinner deals as well as over 60 events on the calendar giving food and wine lovers unlimited choices.

Guests included, to name a few chef Matt Moran, former MasterChef contestants Justin Schofield, Alvin Quah, Julia Taylor and Andy Allen as well as famous foodie and TV presenter Lyndey Milan and more.
