The Santa Claus Headquarters in Finnish Lapland has issued Doctor’s Statement on the health of Santa Claus.

This statement has been made with Santa’s consent and request and based on the findings of examinations performed in 2008.

Santa Claus is youthful despite his actual age; he is going strong and is full of energy. His health is excellent, and no changes were found compared to the previous year. Santa has a good heart, excellent eyesight, and hearing that exceed all official hearing requirements set by the elves. He is therefore ready for his important Christmas mission.

The examination was conducted at the Lapland Central Hospital by Dr Eija Suorsa. In addition, the Arctic Circle Elfontology Specialist has also taken part in assessing Santa’s fitness.

Santa’s reindeer have been practicing for their Christmas time duties throughout the year, and according to the physician checking their flying abilities the reindeer are also in top form.

Santa Claus lives in Lapland, in the north of Finland. You can meet him any day of the year in Rovaniemi, in Santa Claus’ Village www.santaclausevillage.info on the Arctic Circle.

Santa’s secret getaway is in the East of Lapland, on the Korvatunturi Fell, where he was first spotted in the 1920’s. The secluded area of Korvatunturi is situated on the border between Finland and Russia. Mrs Claus lives there, and so do the elves that prepare the gifts.

Six-day Christmas tours from Australia to Finland start from $ 2930 per person, twin share basis, including one-way flight Ivalo/Helsinki including taxes.
