Refurbishment begins at PARKROYAL Parramatta

A major transformation has commenced at PARKROYAL Parramatta, in Sydney’s west, with refurbishment works to the hotel’s original tower.

The refurbishment is taking in more than two-thirds of the hotel’s 286 guest rooms and is set to be completed in April 2025.

The works will also include renovating the property’s meetings and events spaces.

“We’re thrilled to bring a new chapter to PARKROYAL Parramatta, which has proudly served western Sydney for years,” says PARKROYAL Parramatta hotel manager Hans Joachim.

“This refurbishment showcases our commitment to delivering a modern, elevated experience that meets the standards of today’s traveller and celebrates Parramatta’s dynamic and rapidly changing landscape.”

PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts is a hospitality brand of Pan Pacific Hotels Group, and the company’s cluster general manager, Jeroen Meijer, says this renovation mirrors the growth of Parramatta as a major business centre.

“As Parramatta continues to grow as a destination, we look forward to welcoming guests into a space that is a tribute to the area’s rich heritage and a symbol of its exciting future,” he says.

“With this refurbishment comes a desire to stay ahead in a competitive market as the area continues to evolve into a major hub.”
