
Located on Elizabeth Street, in Brisbane’s CBD, the property will be converted from Brisbane Hilton to InterContinental Brisbane.
It will undergo a major renovation that is expected to be complete in 2027 and will integrate the hotel, Wintergarden and Regent Theatre into one destination blending retail, dining, entertainment and hospitality.
Once complete, it will feature 321 rejuvenated guest rooms, four restaurants and bars, and expansive conferencing and events facilities.

InterContinental Brisbane will open as the third InterContinental property in Queensland, joining InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef and InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort.
In Australasia, IHG Hotels & Resorts currently operates 21 hotels within its luxury and lifestyle segment, with five properties in the pipeline, spanning its InterContinental, Kimpton, Vignette Collection and Hotel Indigo brands.
In total, IHG Hotels & Resorts has 69 hotels in Australasia operating under nine brands, with another 26 properties in its development pipeline.
