Hilton Worldwide has introduced getplanning, an interactive meeting planning platform that will be available at its Connect+ properties globally. Connect+ hotels include more than 450 guest rooms or more than 3,716 square metres of meeting space.

The new tool makes accessing project information seamless

Using secure cloud-based technology, getplanning allows meeting planners to connect with hotel staff, vendors and partners in real-time.

Features of the new meeting tool include access to documents from one centralised location (contracting, planning, on-site and post-event archive), efficient dissemination of information with chronological organisation, single link to planning assets (floor plans, menus and more), the ability to reply to getplanning correspondence directly from own email inbox and access to daily pickup reports, food and beverage and banquet checks, weather and more onsite via mobile devices.

Hilton Worldwide vice president, events and catering, Americas, Joyce Inderbitzin said, “When planning large events, meetings and conventions, circumstances change often and decisions need to be made quickly. Getplanning enables our clients to exchange information seamlessly and securely between all stakeholders in real time”.
