The new function spaces are undergoing a more contemporary makeover by interior designer and architect, Michael McCann, director of Dreamtime Australia. McCann will design and fit-out L’Aqua and Dockside as part of the bold multi-million dollar identity change to reflect what will be Sydney’s newest meeting and event options by the Dockside Group.

“We sought a specialist in design transformation unique to the hospitality industry to steer this project and Michael’s concepts for the interior design of both Dockside and L’Aqua are stunning” said Dockside Group managing direct, Christopher Drivas. “The timing of the planned renovation is ideal as Sydney is experiencing increased demand for conference and function space in 2010,”

Prior to closing in June for the renovation, both L’Aqua and Dockside are promoting special offers for conferences and meetings and, on opening in August, will continue to offer competitive day conferencing and event packages.
