Three industry leaders join the Events Uncovered program

Together, they will focus on women in leadership and discuss how the industry can better support women across all levels of business.

Another three inspiring speakers have been confirmed for Events Uncovered, taking place in Sydney on Thursday 28 July.

Alongside the free events exhibition, the Spice Knowledge Sessions will feature a full day of panel sessions, Q&As and presentations covering a broad range of topics relating to the events industry.

Three new speakers have been confirmed for the panel session ‘Females of the future: Inspiring the next gen of industry leaders’, which will focus on women in leadership and how the industry can better support women across all levels of business.

Events Uncovered attendees will hear from:

  • Jane Lyons, general manager, Hyatt Regency Sydney
  • Samantha Hassan, Director of Events and Audio Visual, The Star Sydney
  • Vanessa Green, CEO of Cliftons Event Solutions

Tickets to the Spice Knowledge Sessions are available here

These strong female leaders join a number of already confirmed speakers for the event, including Nicole Walker, President of EEAA and managing director of Arinex, Andrew Hiebl, CEO of Association of Australian Convention Bureaux, Geoff Donaghy CEO of ICC Sydney and Peter McDonald, CEO of MEA, who will together provide a state of the industry update.

Event technology will also be a focus in this year’s program, with Chris Schlueter (Sprintr), Joe Ciliberto (EventsAir) and Michelle Schuberg (Curiious) taking part in a panel discussion on all things tech.

Event law expert Matt Crouch will present on the ‘ins and outs’ of event legalities, leaving delegates with a legal checklist for future-proofing their business events.
