Sydney’s five-star Sheraton on the Park has renamed to Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park, following a $50 million refurbishment.

As the first Sheraton Grand hotel in Sydney, the property has been elevated due to its exceptional design and service, dining concepts and spa experiences.

General manager David Fraser says the recent refurbishment has supported the hotel’s rebrand.

“When we commenced our renovations we sought to reimagine the elegance and sophistication of a luxury apartment into our guestroom design by creating a more refined and residential experience,” he says.

The hotel’s 558 guest rooms have also been upgraded.

“We wanted to set ourselves up for the future by ensuring the new design reflects the more modern direction of the hotel but pays homage to its heritage.

“We are honoured to receive the coveted designation of Sheraton Grand. It is a wonderful testament to the exceptional level of service provided by our team.”

The hotel will celebrate the milestone with an event in its new-look Grand Ballroom on 15 November 2018.
