Adelaide-based company Blanco Food and Events has changed its name to Blanco Horner Hospitality Management.

Adelaide-based company Blanco Food and Events has changed its name to Blanco Horner Hospitality Management, emphasising the names of the two principals, Steven Blanco and Christopher Horner.

In line with these changes, the company is expanding and consulting to corporate business, including collaborations with the health sector and education sector.

Director Christopher Horner says, “It’s an exciting time for Blanco Horner, as we introduce our new brand identifying a unified and holistic service offering. We are more than just a restaurant and catering company. We are very proud of the successes of our previous brand, Blanco Food and Events, but as our service portfolio has expanded, we felt it was time to build on our existing reputation and create an all encompassing brand.”

Blanco Horner currently manage the operations of Blanco Catering, Botanic Gardens Restaurant, Weddings Botanic Gardens, The Gardens Cafe Kiosk and Events, Noel Lothian Hall, Sanctuary Adelaide Zoo and Cafe Alere and Function Centre. The company recently acquired the operations of Flinders Pantry + Cafe and introduced an in-house bakery.

Blanco Horner have also collaborated with peak business industry bodies, such as Adelaide Convention Bureau and South Australia Club to deliver hospitality experiences in New York and London and supporting South Australian tourism by networking with agents in China and Indonesia. Expanding their offerings to an International market and growing their position within the South Australian tourism market is part of the overall strategic plan for the business.
