The Forum Melbourne has undergone a meticulous restoration and extensive refurbishment over the last 12 months creating an incredible and versatile state-of-the-art event space perfect for cocktail events from 400 – 1500 guests and dinners from 250 – 550 guests.
Boasting a prime CBD location on the corner of Flinders and Russell Streets, opposite Federation Square, the iconic exterior of the building is matched by its elaborate interior.
The entrance foyer and mezzanine levels provide a stunning pre-dinner drinks area complete with high ceiling, mosaic tiling and marble staircases. The main room is one of Melbourne’s most unique and iconic event spaces featuring its famous sky-blue ceiling, iconic statues, cabaret style booths, mesmerizing proscenium and spacious stage.
The refurbishment includes the addition of three new architecturally designed bars, a new polished hardwood spacious dance floor, optimised sightlines with new hydraulic adjustable height flooring with options of up to four tiered floor levels or flat floor at the rear, 14 x bespoke custom-built booths, state of the art lighting, sound and front of house rigging systems, brand new unique bathroom facilities and the installation of a lift that accommodates cars into the venue.
Now complete with a new purpose built commercial kitchen on site, the Marriner Group Catering team’s approach allows you to tailor a menu together with our Executive Chef, David Ricardo (formerly of the Lucas Group and winner of many Chef’s Hat awards) to the specific needs of your event.
