Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort gets ‘Grand’ status

Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas has been newly designated as a “Sheraton Grand” property.

The premium-tier resort, which recently underwent a AUD$43M renovation, is one of two Sheraton Grand properties in Australia, recognised for their enticing destinations, distinguished designs and excellence in service and guest experiences.

“We are very proud to welcome Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas to Sheraton’s premier tier of hotels and resorts, which recognises the highest levels of design and service,” said Sean Hunt, Area Vice President, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific. “This designation marks a new era for the newly renovated resort, reinforcing its position as one of Australia’s most iconic hotels.”

The recently renovated Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas features 295 rooms and suites, including 41 Lagoon Edge Rooms and 12 Lagoon Edge Studio Suites. The ground floor suites have private balconies, offering guests breathtaking views and direct access to the resort’s saltwater lagoon swimming pools.
