Last night there were nearly 2,000 Amway guests dining and enjoying Luna Park Sydney. There were four dinners hosted from 6 January that saw (in total) just over 8,000 Amway guests dine and play in Luna Park.
17.25pm – Luna Park Showtime performers and all external performers in position to greet guests. Performers wearing special Amway China branded tailored sashes for the event.
17.30pm – Guests Begin Arriving at Luna Park Sydney via Captain Cook Cruises – via Luna Park (Milsons Point) Wharf and Jeffrey St Wharf.
18.45pm – Guests move into eight Luna Park Venues including the Big Top Auditorium, Crystal Palace, Palais and Sonar.
19.00pm – Park closes to the public and Amway China commence exclusive Park use of all rides and games.
19.00pm – MC Opening.
19.10pm – Management welcome, speeches and toasting.
19.33pm – Australian Seafood Platter served.
19.45pm – Talent resume.
20.05pm – Family style main course served. All vegetarian and Halal dietary requirements catered for.
20.25pm – Fruit platters served.
20.40pm – Closing remarks from MC.
20.45pm – Guests move to Boardwalk. Dessert items and beverages available for VIPs on CB deck.
20.58pm – Grand Finale commences on the Harbour facing Luna Park. Finale includes: Mermaid dancers on the boardwalk, Fly Board (water jet) performers with pyrotechnics on the Harbour, Tall Ships sailing towards Luna Park foreshore with large spotlights on acrobatic performers onboard dangling from the tall ship masts, Harbourside fireworks from a barge directly facing Luna Park precinct for the guests.
21.11pm – A Haka from Mauri dancers commences at the grounds of Luna Park Sydney.
21.17pm – Guests use unlimited rides and games throughout the Park. Wide range of dessert items and beverages available throughout various food stations throughout the Park grounds.
21.45pm – Last drinks and last rides.
22.00pm – Guests depart.
