Café Ananas opened last Friday at Circular Quay.

Café Ananas has replaced sister restaurant Café Nice at 2 Phillip Street. Customers are already enjoying the new menu, which is inspired by the original Ananas Bar and Brasserie in The Rocks (which is relocating to Darling Harbour) and includes some favourites from Café Nice. The name change and new signage will be completed this week, with interior design enhancements finished in May.

Café Ananas offers a prix-fixe lunch menu of three courses, as well as pre-theatre dining options and the return of Ananas’ long Sunday Champagne brunch.

In addition to Café Ananas, the original Ananas brasserie will relocate to Darling Harbour in September to coincide with the launch of the new International Convention Centre Sydney. Located close to the entrance of ICC Sydney, the French brasserie will feature indoor and alfresco dining, a wine and Champagne garden bar catering to over 150 guests, an oyster bar, and a bakery.
