Parker Street Project is the Royal Mail Hotel’s new mid-range dining option.
Located in the former public bar, the Parker Street Project offers a menu of seasonal, à la carte, ingredient-focussed menu options, alongside traditional ‘pub classics’. The venue can fit 40 people seated inside and 20 outside.
Using produce from the Royal Mail Hotel organic kitchen garden – the largest working restaurant kitchen garden in Australia from which up to 80 per cent of the dining room menu is sourced – with signature wine flights from the extensive Royal Mail Hotel wine collection, the Parker Street Project treads the line between gastro pub and fine dining.
The current menu includes Great Ocean Duck terrine with green pickle, organic chicken with mount zero grains and crab apple and lamb shoulder with cumin and carrot, as well as pub classics with a Royal Mail twist like Port Fairy fish with hand cut chips and the Royal Mail beef burger.
A range of boutique beers including the Royal Mail Hotel and Temple Brewing collaboration ‘Seasons Harvest’ and specialty spirits are also available alongside a wine list of local and international labels.
