Cathay Pacific’s budget carrier has rebranded to Cathay Dragon.
Cathay Dragon will have a new logo and livery that is more closely aligned with Cathay Pacific’s branding.
The two airlines will continue to operate as separate entities but the name change will help consumer make the connection between the two brands.
Updates to the carrier’s image will appear for the first time on Cathay Dragon’s new Airbus A330-300 aircraft debuting in April this year. It will then roll out to the rest of the fleet.
In addition to the image and name change, Cathay Dragon will offer guests a premium in-flight experience featuring traditional Chinese and Hong Kong cuisine.
