The Australian Turf Club is pleased to announce that as of January 30 2016, stage one of the Rosehill Gardens renovations are completed.
The total cost of these refurbishments are at an estimated $28million over the past four years and are aimed to improve and enhance the experience for guests at Western Sydney’s premier events centre and racecourse.
It was decided that Rosehill Gardens didn’t need to be rebuilt but rejuvenated. Essentially, the ‘bones’ of the Grandstand were strong but in order to keep up with industry demands, particular areas required an upgrade.
Stage one has seen the first three floors of the grandstand complete with new carpets, fixtures and fittings. Bars and outlets have been refreshed and new furniture throughout. Bathrooms have been completely revitalised with sleek black tiling and modern fixtures.
The Ground floor has increased in size to now offer over 4,800sqm in space and features a spectacular supawood ceiling and integrated lighting. A new glass enclosed area has also been designed, perfectly appointed for gala dinners, product launches and unique seminars. The glass bi-fold doors allow easy access and creates a perfect indoor/outdoor space for car launches and large equipment displays.
Level one is now open for events and consists of a pre-function space with access onto the Winning Post Terrace, as well as a new multipurpose event space with operable walls that assist with creating breakout spaces and reveals.
Stage three includes upgrades of the Winning Post Restaurant and a multifunctional event space on Level 3. This work is due to be completed after the Caravan Camping and Holiday Supershow in mid-August 2016.
So whilst there is still more to be done, the ATC is proud of the work that our executives and staff have achieved to bring this wonderful venue a fresh and first-class finish.
We hope you continue to enjoy the fantastic event options available at Rosehill Gardens.
