The Villa, overlooking Sunset Beach and the Coral Sea, is Lizard Island‘s latest luxury offering.

Featuring two bedrooms with ensuites, a spacious lounge with butler’s kitchen and an expansive outdoor area, The Villa also has a private 8-metre infinity plunge pool directly below.

Interiors by Hecker Guthrie focus on natural tones and finishes, achieving the perfect combination of understated elegance and subtle indulgence.

The Villa guests will also enjoy daily sunset Champagne and canapés in their room. Private dining is also available, with personal chefs and wait staff available at request.

Executive director Greg Magi said, “The refurbishment of Lizard Island continues to impress recent visitors to the property.

“The launch of The Villa is one of our greatest additions to the property throughout the $45 million refurbishment. This room reflects our continued dedication to luxurious relaxation for our guests, and we look forward to welcoming the first visitors into this exquisitely curated space,” he said.

In the first months of operation since the soft re-opening in June 2015, guests have enjoyed exceptional diving and snorkelling conditions, with good visibility allowing guests to enjoy Lizard Island’s unrivalled proximity to the Great Barrier Reef. To the delight of guests, migrating whales travelling through the nearby waterways have been spotted from the island.
