Luxperience has wrapped up again for another year with record attendees and exhibitors.

With a new awards program and gala dinner that took place at The Star Event Centre, Luxperience rolled out its updated program with positive feedback.

Organisers said that the show had its largest attendance ever this year with over 1000 visitors, maintaining its continued year on year growth trend since its inception.

Maintaining its global focus the event gave exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products to over 400 elite luxury and experiential travel buyers from Australia and key global markets. Seventy per cent of the buyers were new to Luxperience.

Luxperience 2015 kicked off with a thought leaders forum and welcome cocktail party at Sydney Town Hall for over 500 attendees and included 3.5 days of more than 30,000 appointments. The event culminated in a gala dinner and awards evening at The Star, where the winners of the inaugural Luxperience 2015 Awards were revealed and next year’s dates and venue were announced.

Luxperience founder Helen Logas said, “The feedback from exhibitors and buyers alike was that this year’s Luxperience was the most inspirational and productive to date, with numerous leads generated and key relationships fostered in face-to-face meetings. We encourage luxury travel industry members to mark 18-21 September 2016 in their diaries – Luxperience will be returning in style to Sydney’s Australian Technology Park for its fifth anniversary.”

New to this year’s event was Events by Luxperience, expanding elements of the core exhibition specifically for the MICE market, which proved a hit with both buyers and exhibitors with many proposals for new business being requested during the 3.5 day workshop.
