Silverneedle Hospitality has rebranded The Chifley in Wollongong to a Sage Hotel.

The hotel has 168-rooms and 13 function spaces that can cater to more than 400 people.

SilverNeedle Hospitality hotels division executive vice president Sean Flynn said, “We have placed great emphasis on staff training to ensure that we are able to deliver on our service promise as our goal is for guests to feel as though their stay at the hotel is an extension of their home. This includes making the hotel a place where there is a sense of familiarity with our products and services and where guests feel that they are a part of this special community.”

Located just over an hour south of  Sydney, Sage Hotel Wollongong overlooks the beach, us minutes from the city centre and is adjacent to WIN Sports and Entertainment Centre.

The former Grand Chifley Adelaide was the first property in SilverNeedle Hospitality’s  portfolio to be rebranded to Sage Hotel in June 2015. Silverneedle Hospitality has announced that a new-build Sage Hotel in West Perth will open in 2016.
