Art geeks rejoice: Art Gallery of NSW (AGNSW) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) will welcome two globally significant exhibitions in the coming months.

Following on from the annual success of the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman prize exhibition, the galleries are ramping up for the arrival of a collection of masterpieces from the national galleries of Scotland and Grayson Perry’s ‘My Pretty Little Art Career’ retrospective.

The Scottish collection includes works from Botticelli, Gauguin, Velazquez, Monet and Rubens, just to name a few. This exhibition will run at the AGNSW from October 24, 2015 – February 14, 2016.

English artists Grayson Perry will be in Sydney for the launch of his exhibition. Starting out as a ceramicist, Perry has moved into large scale tapestries and sculptural works. He is one of the art scene’s most beloved and colourful characters. He is a transvestite whose wardrobe is a work of art in itself. This exhibition will run at the MCA from December 10, 2015 – May 1, 2016.

There will be a range of hospitality options available to corporate groups including access to the British-themed summer pop-up bar at the MCA, access to Perry during the opening period, private viewings and VIP events in the galleries’ venues.
