Hot venue: Wolf Blass cellar door

Wolf Blass Cellar Door 1 - Cropped

The recently redesigned Wolf Blass cellar door is now available as a venue.

Situated close to Nuriootpa at the northern end of the Barossa Valley, the original winery was a two hectare site with an old army shed established by German immigrant Wolfgang Blass in 1969. Today the multi-award winning winery is home to four locations that can be decorated and tailored to suit any corporate event, business meeting or gala dinner.

If clients are looking for pre-dinner drinks before the main event, the Barrel Hall Foyer is an ideal space.  Accommodating 60 people in banquet-style or 100 guests for cocktails, the Barrel Hall Foyer has views into the larger Barrel Hall. The Barrel Hall itself seats up to 1,000 delegates.

Overlooking the Wolf Blass wetlands, the West Wing Outdoor Pavilion allows delegates to be outside or enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapés while watching the sun set over the Barossa. And rain need not dampen things, as the Outdoor Pavilion comes with the luxury of a roof for those occasional rain drops. The Pavilion accommodates up to 100 people for a banquet or 150 delegates for cocktails.

The Platinum Label Room is suited to a more intimate occasion, hosting up to 30 guests for a banquet or 40 for cocktails, and featuring artwork from eminent Australian landscape artists such as Kenneth Jack AM.

Barossa Valley produce menus can be matched with wines from the Wolf Blass Gold Label range to extend the theming.

Previous corporate groups who have chosen to hold events at the Wolf Blass winery include Citrus Australia, Monaro National Australia and the Corvette Club.

The rooms and outdoor spaces at Wolf Blass winery can also be used for weddings.
