Escape the cold of Sydney and be welcomed as you step through the Moroccan-blue doors of Moorish Blue. The new highly-rated restaurant in McMahons Point is a gem to be discovered with friends and business colleagues alike; original pieces of Tunisian-inspired art line the walls both inside and out, complementing the fresh and flavoursome modern North African cuisine served at this establishment.
Three levels of dining makes this venue suitable for any type of event for up to 200 people – from corporate functions to birthday celebrations, or even informal gatherings – with tailor-made food and drink menus to match. Generous meals designed for sharing (in true Tunisian custom) are served, with something appealing to everyone and dietary requirements fully catered for. Last month, a Moorish Blue paleo menu was prepared and served to celebrity chef Pete Evans and his guests, also featuring their preferred Cleaver’s Organic Meats.
In addition to the delicious and colourful food, Moorish Blue has created a range of Moorish cocktails to get the night started. Upstairs in the spacious, private Ottoman Lounge and Bar, cocktails such as the Fig Caipirinha, Long Tunisian Iced Tea and the Persian Fairy Floss Martini are served. Cocktail-making classes are also available for fun team bonding sessions.
In winter, patrons can still relax in the popular Oasis Garden with Turkish coffees and Tunisian mint teas under the warmth of outdoor heating. Every Sunday afternoon, you’ll find this is the site of live music to accompany a relaxing drink.
For an easy winter getaway, travel to North Africa in Moorish Blue for an inspiring visit your guests won’t forget.
