Annandale Hotel- original

Legendary live music venue The Annandale Hotel will reopen next month after an extensive renovation.

New owners, Oscars Hotels, have breathed new life into the  inner west stalwart under the direction of architect and interior designer, Elaine Richardson.

Richardson, whose previous works include Trinity Hotel, Bat and Ball and The Henson Park Hotel has maintained the historic integrity of the pub.

The newly refurbished venue will have a large leafy courtyard and bistro, main bar and open air back bar with communal table.

The Annandale will return to its roots as a live music venue by featuring local and international singer songwriters, unplugged and bluegrass artists.

Executive chef , John Rankin (ex Waitan) will dish up traditional favourites such as big breakfasts and hotcakes with blueberries and maple syrup cream, as well as fancy pub fare including things like The Green Machine toasted cheese sandwich with fontina, kale and fennel butter and jerk chicken with ale cheddar, chicken sausage, jerk sauce and pickled onions.

The Annandale Hotel is located on the corner of Nelson Street and Parramatta Road in Annandale, Sydney.
