The decision was reached by mutual agreement between both parties and IHG and Kakadu Tourism ‘will continue to work closely to ensure a smooth transition of these hotels to the new management team’.

The properties have been managed for 25 years consecutively by IHG and its predecessor Bass and prior to that SPHC (which Bass purchased).

The new management company of both properties will be announced tomorrow morning.

The current general managers of the two properties – Daniel Lukritz (Crocodile Hotel) and Vanessa Thomson (Cooinda Lodge) – will be staying with the hotels following the conclusion of IHG’s management contract.

No bookings are affected by the changes.
